Defense and aerospace business development veteran will lead growth for the holding company and its operating subsidiaries: Marine Electric Systems, Aerospace Industries, MES Fasteners, and Rectico
DALLAS, TX (July 23, 2026): MES Technologies, Inc. today announced the appointment of Johnny Villena as Vice President of Development. In the newly created role, Villena will lead business development for the holding company and all of its operating subsidiaries, uniting new business capture, customer relationships, and program pursuit across the entire MES Technologies family.
Villena joins MES Technologies after senior business development leadership roles across the defense and aerospace industry, including Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Columbia Helicopters, Senior Manager of Business Development at Elbit Systems of America, and Director of Sales at Chromalloy. His career spans OEM and depot level sustainment, military and government program capture, and international defense markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Arts in Business Management from Webster University.

At MES Technologies, Villena will direct pipeline growth across the four operating subsidiaries: deepening relationships with prime contractors, expanding participation in DLA and Navy procurement channels, and supporting the company’s acquisition driven growth strategy. His scope covers the full range of the family’s capabilities, from proprietary naval product lines and electronic assemblies at Marine Electric Systems, to precision machining at Aerospace Industries, custom fasteners at MES Fasteners, and MIL-STD-2073 packaging and logistics at Rectico.
